Here’s what happens:
Your installation is completed
Your windows, doors, or roof products are installed by a FENSA Approved Installer in an existing home in England or Wales.The installer registers the work
After the job is finished, your installer registers the installation with FENSA. This confirms the work meets the relevant Building Regulations, so you don’t need to contact Building Control separately.Checks may take place
Some installations are selected for inspection as part of FENSA’s quality checks. This helps ensure standards are maintained across all registered work.Your certificate is issued
Once the installation is successfully registered, your FENSA certificate is issued and sent to you, usually within 15 days.
