I contract to several FENSA Approved Installers. Can I remove the company name from my FENSA Skills Card?
No. A FENSA Skills Card (MTC) can only display one FENSA Approved Installer’s name.
If you work with multiple FENSA Approved Installers, you will need a separate Skills Card for each installer you contract with.
Alternative option:
You may wish to join FENSA as an Approved Installer yourself. This allows your own company name to appear on the Skills Card and provides clear evidence to homeowners and other installers that you are competent and verified.
I no longer work for the FENSA Approved Installer shown on my card. Can this be changed?
Yes, in certain circumstances.
If you:
Now work for a different FENSA Approved Installer, or
Have become a FENSA Approved Installer yourself
We can issue a replacement Skills Card free of charge.
How do I order a replacement FENSA Skills Card?
Your new FENSA Approved Installer must complete this FORM on your behalf and upload:
A new passport-style photograph of you
Once received, our team will check the details and order the card.
You should receive your replacement card within 14 days.
What if I no longer work for any FENSA Approved Installer?
If you are not currently working for a FENSA Approved Installer, we are unable to replace your Skills Card. This is because the card displays a company name as evidence that the installer is FENSA approved.
Can I still get proof of my competency without a company name?
Yes. If you need evidence of your competency without a company name, we can provide a Certificate of Achievement.

Your Person ID
