If you can’t see your installation registered with FENSA, don’t worry there are a few common reasons this might happen, and we’re here to help guide you.
Step 1: Check with your installer
Start by contacting your FENSA Approved Installer to ask why the installation hasn’t been registered.
Some common reasons include:
The installation isn’t fully complete or compliant with Building Regulations yet.
The installation is outside of FENSA's Scope
Step 2: Allow time for registration
Most installers submit registrations promptly, but sometimes it takes a little time. Please give your installer a reasonable period to complete the registration.
Step 3: Let FENSA assist
If your installation was completed within the last 2 years and it still hasn’t been registered after contacting your installer, please let us know via this FORM . This helps us gather all the information we need to investigate and support you.

For installations older than 2 years, FENSA cannot register them. In this case, you can contact your local council to request an inspection and obtain your Building Regulation Certificates.
A gentle reminder: FENSA is here to ensure compliance and provide certificates, but we cannot get involved in any financial disputes between homeowners and installers. No party can hold the FENSA Certificate as leverage.
